Nice to Meet You!

My name is Ash Stiller and I am a long-time musician and education nerd.
My background is in music and allied health - a combination that has lead me to view music education in a holistic way. I meet students where they’re at, building solid musical foundations all for the purpose of musical enjoyment and personal well-being.
My Experience
I have studied music at Griffith's Queensland Conservatorium and the Jazz Music Institute, as well as holding my Associate Diploma in performance from the Australian Music Education Board. I regularly play in semi professional level ensembles and am currently the associate conductor of a 60+ piece wind ensemble.
Why learn an instrument?
There is plenty of literature explaining the benefits of music on many aspects of wellbeing, including mental health and cognition. Most of all - it's super fun!
I believe I am extremely privileged in my position of knowledge and want to share this with as many people as possible. Music has benefited my life greatly - and I know it can benefit yours too.
